Two-Day Commercial Lending Boot Camp

Cincinnati Office

You’re Invited

Change is constant! And change is coming even faster than ever. So how are you supposed to keep up with all that you need to know in order to lend or borrow money without putting your organization at risk? FBT’s Commercial Lending Boot Camp is designed to provide a solid foundation and in-depth analysis of commercial lending documentation best practices coupled with explanations of why particular loan terms are important.

Beyond documentation basics, up to the minute presentations will explore the essential and complex topics related to real estate lending (title insurance and surveys) and construction lending (mechanic’s liens, etc.). And, of course, none of this matters if the right persons have not authorized the transaction. Finally, there will be a presentation addressing why all of this is important in the context of non-performing loans touching on: workouts, forbearance agreements, collateral realization, court enforcement (judgment collection) and bankruptcy.

Join our FBT attorneys in the Cincinnati office for this educational and enlightening two-day seminar.

We will cover the following topics:
  • Introduction to Commercial Lending
  • Construction Lending – The Basics
  • Title Insurance
  • Surveys
  • Issues to Consider in Enforcing Loan Documents
  • Authority Documents
