Ellis provides compliance counsel to innovative and disruptive businesses operating or expanding into regulated spaces such as insurance, financial services, pharmacy, and EPA-regulated products and services.  Ellis advises clients on product development, marketing and advertising compliance, and licensing requirements.  He has experience representing startups and established Fortune 500 companies.  As a Senior Associate in Frost Brown Todd’s Insurance Practice Group, Ellis has represented some of the largest insurers, agents, and brokers in the world and worked with clients in every stage of the business life cycle.
Ellis is a graduate of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky and obtained his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans. Before joining Frost Brown Todd, he practiced in the Pacific Northwest for four years and continues to maintain his license to practice law in Oregon and Washington.
