Biography

Maureen is a trial lawyer who concentrates her practice on the diverse litigation needs of businesses and individuals.  Maureen’s practice includes national product liability counseling and litigation in a variety of industry sectors, ranging from consumer products to construction and agricultural equipment manufacturers; prosecution and defense of contract disputes, business torts and unfair competition claims; estate litigation; and personal injury and premises liability litigation.

Maureen’s Relevant Experience

  • Represented Fortune 500 Company as first chair in arbitration in $30 million CERCLA remediation action.
  • Secured a defense verdict for an international manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment in a product liability fire case in South Dakota federal court.
  • Help lead a regional team as national fire counsel for a manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment, appearing in state and federal courts across the country.
  • Represent manufacturer of durable medical equipment as lead product liability counsel throughout the State of Ohio.
  • Serve on a team as national coordinating counsel for a concession equipment and accessories manufacturer in diacetyl litigation.
  • Served on a team as international product liability counsel for a consumer goods manufacturer.
  • Obtained dismissal of a Fortune 100 company in a wrongful death action for failure to assert valid intentional tort claims as required under Ohio’s workers’ compensation statutes.
  • Successfully represented members of a family-owned business in breach of fiduciary duty litigation.
  • Secured a preliminary injunction in favor of IT company for a former employees’ breach of a non-competition agreement.
  • Obtained voluntary dismissal of a trust dispute in the middle of a bench trial.
