Biography

Lauren focuses her practice on Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities. Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Lauren was a civil litigation and trial attorney in state, federal and bankruptcy courts throughout Kentucky and Indiana. During this time she represented corporate defendants as well as local and national banks in the areas of business, commercial and contract litigation.

Legal Work Highlights

Representation of national bank client in defense of action for statutory penalties. The Kentucky Court of Appeals reversed the trial court judgment in favor of Plaintiff and granted judgment for the bank. Lauren also represented the bank in front of the Kentucky Supreme Court, which affirmed the Court of Appeals.

Representation of national bank client in which bank appealed an adverse trial court judgment regarding to the sufficiency of lien release triggers. Kentucky Court of Appeals reversed and remanded in favor of bank.

Representation of national financial consulting company in which Plaintiff appealed an adverse trial court judgment regarding borrower lien disclosures. The Kentucky Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court judgment in favor of the financial consulting company.
