Jennifer’s practice is focused on finance and real estate and she has significant experience representing lenders on financing transactions, including asset-based, construction, acquisition and permanent loan facilities. Jennifer also has a background in bankruptcy and restructuring and has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees and landlords in all aspects of insolvency proceedings.
Jennifer has extensive experience as opinion counsel and is the Chair of the firm’s Opinion Committee. In this role, Jennifer works with a team of attorneys across all offices to represent both borrowers and lenders in complex commercial real estate transactions and to deliver the local counsel opinions and services required in connection with such deals. Jennifer also specializes in non-consolidation opinions, and routinely issues these opinions on the borrower side as well as reviews such opinions on the lender side. As part of her opinion practice and role on the firm’s Opinion Committee, Jennifer keeps up to date on the latest “best-practices” and understands how to efficiently and effectively provide local counsel services to her clients.
