Christina is the Practice Group Leader for Real Estate at Frost Brown Todd and serves on the firm’s Finance Committee. With over twenty years of diversified experience in commercial real estate, her practice focuses on the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development and financing of retail, shopping center, restaurant, office, industrial and warehouse projects with an emphasis on representing clients in the franchise/hospitality and healthcare industries.
Ancillary to her real estate practice, she also represent clients in the telecommunications industry, including telecommunications carriers, wireless equipment vendors and service providers, hotels, universities and entrepreneurs with respect to cell site leases, acquisitions and dispositions, Distributed Antenna System (“DAS”) agreements, license and marketing agreements, easement agreements and revenue share agreements.
Christina is also a member of the Board of Managers of Frost Brown Todd’s title agency, Multi-State Title Agency LLC. Multi-State is an agent for six title insurance underwriters including Chicago Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.Â
She is also active in the local community. Most notable among her civic and charitable contributions is her service to the American Red Cross, Cincinnati Ballet Company and American Heart Association.
Represented private equity firm in acquisition of publicly held restaurant operation involving 270 locations across 32 states in a transaction valued at $335 million
Represented major department store in sale of property located at a mixed-use project in greater San Francisco, California metropolitan area and short-term leaseback
Represented developer in numerous land acquisition and build-to-suit lease transactions with nation’s largest operator of rural lifestyle retail stores in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland and West Virginia
Represented regional healthcare system in its acquisition of an existing facility located on a 70-acre campus, which involved negotiation of a complex separation plan and master services utility agreement to address the cost allocation and separation of electricity, chilled water, compressed air and steam for the facility and the portion of the property retained by the seller
Represented publicly traded restaurant operation in disposition of 80 locations in 3 states in a deal valued at $175 million
Represented privately held restaurant operation in acquisition of 76 locations in 3 states
Represented regional telecommunications provider in leasing of over 200,000 square feet of Class A office space for consolidated corporate headquarters
Represented national department store chain in connection with all aspects of its retail real estate portfolio
Represented publicly held regional telecommunications company with all aspects of its real estate portfolio
Represented purchaser of industrial park property for construction of a multimillion-dollar fulfillment center
Represented corporate client in negotiation of a building lease in Southeast Asia
Represented restaurant franchise owner/operator in acquiring locations throughout the region through lease or purchase
Represented corporate clients in acquisition and disposition of shopping center, office, industrial, data center, and warehouse space
Represented retailers, financial institutions, hotel operators, developers and owners in connection with commercial leases, including ground leases and sale-leaseback transactions
Represented clients in the purchase and sale of business and assets, entity formation, and business strategy and planning
Represented nonprofit organization regarding leasing of its headquarters, including a long-term ground lease
