Michael focuses his practice on construction law and litigation. Michael’s client representations range from casinos and ENR Top 400 contractors to design firms and subcontractors. He has handled cases involving coastal bridges, high-rise hotels and casinos, shopping malls, mixed use developments, subdivisions and highways. He has experience with claims involving delay costs, differing site conditions, defective plans and specifications, change order disputes, terminations and lost production. Michael has represented clients in court or in ADR proceedings in Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Nevada, North Carolina, and elsewhere. He also writes, reviews and negotiates contracts for owners, designers and contractors, often for projects exceeding $100 million.
