Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Charleston Member Jared M. Tully has received the 2017 Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award by the State Bar Association and Legal Aid of West Virginia. Established in 2013, the award recognizes an individual or law firm deserving of special commendation for going “above and beyond” their call of duty. Tully, who is recognized for his extensive work for Legal Aid clients in multiple matters over the past several years, officially received the award at the 2018 Annual Gathering of the West Virginia State Bar at the Greenbrier on April 8.

“I am honored to be recognized for my small contribution to equal access to civil justice in West Virginia,” says Tully. “The legal profession is a helping profession and it is a privilege to help those who cannot afford a lawyer but are in dire need of legal advice or representation.”

Tully is a member of FBT’s Business Litigation and Tort & Insurance Practice Groups and serves as the vice chair of the firm’s Financial Services Litigation Section. He focuses his law practice in financial institution and bad faith litigation, and routinely represents national banks in consumer and commercial disputes. Tully earned his J.D. at the West Virginia University School of Law in 2003.
