Neal has represented employers in single plaintiff and class and collective action litigation claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the American’s with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act and various other federal and state employment laws. He also regularly advises employers on compliance with laws governing hiring, discipline, compensation, termination and other employment practices.
Neal’s experience includes defense verdicts in jury trials and arbitrations, defense victories in appellate courts, summary judgment and motion to dismiss dismissals in federal and state courts and dismissals in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, Ohio Unemployment Compensation Review Commission and various other state and federal agencies.
While at Boston College, Neal co-founded and chaired the South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA).
