Minh Hieu Vu is an Associate in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Orange County office. Her diverse practice involves commercial litigation, consumer class actions, wage and hour (PAGA) actions, eminent domain, and trust and estate litigation. Minh Hieu has represented clients across multiple industries, including in utilities, consumer products, financial services, and manufacturing industries.
Minh Hieu has experience defending a significant class action brought under various California consumer protection laws in addition to handling other complex business disputes.
She started her legal career through the United States Attorney General’s Honors Program. Minh Hieu earned her J.D. at the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Minh Hieu served as the Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego Law Review. She has also served as a judicial extern to two district court judges at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Minh Hieu has previously clerked for the California Department of Justice, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and boutique litigation firms in San Diego. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Minh Hieu taught fourth and fifth grade as an elementary school teacher with Teach for America-Bay Area in San Jose, California.
