Biography

MacKenzie is a member of the Government Services practice group, which represents municipal, townships & counties involving government labor and employment law, real estate, land use and zoning, contracts, bidding and procurement, privacy and information management and licensing, regulatory & legislative drafting. Her work ranges from public records and open meetings matters to reviewing easements, covenants, ordinances and contracts. MacKenzie also frequently drafts multiple types of agreements at varying levels of complexity between different entities.

Applying creativity and forward-thinking vision, she enjoys code drafting, interpretation, and enforcement, working with public safety officials to answer their questions and draft policies. Her passion is litigation.

Before joining the firm, MacKenzie served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and served two years as an intern there while attending OSU law school. She also served on the OSU Moot Court team.

She enjoys exploring local parks, sand volleyball, slow pitch softball and trying different restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops during her time outside the office.
