Biography

Kevin helps clients navigate challenging issues across a broad range of complex and simple litigation, including commercial litigation, employment litigation, physician and medical provider licensure complaints, insurance defense litigation, and general civil litigation. Kevin also has extensive experience litigating restrictive covenant disputes in Colorado and Kentucky. From his experience as a trial lawyer, Kevin understands firsthand that creative solutions are required to solve both challenging and simple disputes, and that advocacy does not end in the courtroom. From his experiences in all phases of litigation and arbitrations, Kevin is known as a creative and solution-oriented problem solver for his clients and focuses on practical and cost-driven results.

Kevin began his legal career with Frost Brown Todd’s Lexington, Kentucky, Office before completing a federal clerkship for the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He then worked for a nationally recognized trial firm in Denver as well as small, regional law firms in Fort Collins where he focused on commercial litigation and employment litigation/advising. Kevin returned to Frost Brown Todd’s Denver Office where he focuses on commercial litigation and employment litigation.

Prior to entering law school, Kevin was a Teach For America Corps Member in post-Katrina Greater New Orleans. After his Corps commitment, he helped found a charter school in Brooklyn, New York with Uncommon Schools. Because of his commitment to advancing high-quality educational opportunities for all students, Kevin now serves as a Director on the Poudre School District Board of Education, an elected position, where he is serving his first term.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as their dogs and horse. He takes full advantage of all that Colorado has to offer, including distance and trail running, road biking, and playing soccer.
