Jason maintains a diverse practice, representing both public and private clients on a variety of matters. His practice interests include public private partnerships, government contracts, local government law, economic development, First Amendment and other constitutional issues, appellate, and commercial litigation. Jason also helps clients navigate the complex regulatory framework in the hemp industry.
After graduating from West Point, Jason served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army for nine years, where he commanded multiple organizations and deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel and has served as a Civil Affairs Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves the last five years.
During law school, he clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky in the Affirmative Civil Enforcement unit. Jason was also a Fellow for Harvard Kennedy School’s Social Impact Bond Lab, assessing and designing a Pay For Success public private partnership program in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jason leverages his fourteen years of public sector leadership experience to help his clients with their legal needs.
