Faith has experience in commercial litigation, CMBS, healthcare, and aviation law. Her experience in litigation matters involve breach of contract, breach of service agreement, and disputed locum tenens agreements. She regularly assists with disputed commercial lease provisions, commercial lease review for outside counsel, and recently, she successfully litigated a contentious case against a large electric cooperative, in which our client—a commercial lender, regained control of capital credits it obtained during foreclosure and $3.2 million dollars’ worth of capital credit payouts.
In addition to her commercial business experience, Faith has experience representing large and small airline companies and aviation repair stations in litigation involving products liability, negligence, breach of duty, personal injury, internal investigations, coverage disputes, and executive agreement negotiations. She assists her clients in making key decisions regarding liability and potential damage exposure.
Faith has experience representing doctors, executives, and companies, advising clients on employment related issues, executive agreements, disciplinary matters, privilege/licensing retention, non-compete agreements, and negotiating release from employment contracts. She does not waste any time, and regularly conducts motion practice that puts an end to frivolous litigation early in the opposition’s pursuit. Faith has experience at all phases of litigation, having handled matters from pre-suit consultation through trial and post-trial briefing.
Faith earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2007, and her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of law. Prior to practicing law, she was a probation officer for Oklahoma County. During her time in law school, Faith clerked for a civil litigation firm in San Antonio, Texas and worked for the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association.
BCR Aviation LLC v. Texas Gyro, Inc. – Filed an initial motion to dismiss the eight-count product liability complaint. The Court dismissed all but one cause of action and ultimately negotiated a take nothing defense settlement and dismissal for the client.
Negotiated a significantly favorable settlement in a permanent disfigurement case when a hot beverage spilled on a minor child during a commercial international flight where claimant sought $2.5 million dollars in damages.
Granted Temporary Injunction which operated as a quasi-permanent injunction against a major health system. The TRO prevented the health system from withholding the client’s patient list in the wake of him relocating his practice to another health system.
IAS Medical Ltd v. Williams Airmotive, Inc. et al – Obtained summary judgment on the oppositions numerous frivolous causes of action. Her colleague took the remaining causes of action to trial and obtained a take nothing defense verdict.
