Biography

Erin represents companies in financial distress, along with secured lenders, unsecured creditors and other parties in interest in bankruptcy proceedings, restructurings and out-of-court workouts. Erin has significant experience representing secured lenders in both chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings and represents all types of clients in bankruptcy related litigation, include avoidance actions, claims defense, contested stay relief actions, cramdowns and cash collateral disputes.

In addition, Erin also has experience representing clients in suits related to the enforcement of promissory notes, guarantees and security agreements and defending clients in suits arising under state consumer protection statutes, common law and federal statutes with respect to loan origination, loan servicing, securitization, debt collection and wrongful foreclosure. Before joining the firm, Erin gained extensive experience in bankruptcy and litigation as an associate at a creditors’ rights firm in Boston, where she maintained a state and federal court practice in Massachusetts and New York.
