Amanda helps employers avoid litigation by drafting strong contracts and policies, conducting meaningful training, performing workplace investigations and providing guidance on regulatory compliance. She also represents executive employees in contract negotiations and noncompete matters. Amanda is a practical, proactive advisor and litigator. She helps employers reduce their risks and resolve disputes related to employees.
Amanda litigates in state and federal courts with a focus on discrimination, wage and hour, and noncompete cases. She represents companies before governmental agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission.
Amanda’s experience working with parties on either side of employment disputes allows her to provide her clients with insightful, pragmatic, sound advice. She has also served as a federal judicial law clerk to Judge Richard L. Young in the Southern District of Indiana.
Amanda is a past recipient of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year Award and has served as the Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section.
Amanda is a lifelong Hoosier. She grew up in Indianapolis, attended North Central High School, and received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, cum laude.
