Biography

A first-chair trial lawyer with extensive jury – and bench – trial experience, Aaron has litigated and advised clients on a wide range of matters, including products liability, intellectual property law, real property disputes, environmental issues, toxic torts, commercial contract disputes, business torts, and healthcare regulatory issues. Aaron has practiced in numerous federal and state courts across the country and regularly represents clients in courtrooms, depositions, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Aaron’s experience also spans numerous industries, including representation of clients in the automotive, chemicals, technology, real estate, and healthcare sectors, among others.

Aaron has been selected for inclusion multiple times in Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars, is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Columbus, and is active in several local volunteer organizations and with his local church congregation.

Legal Work Highlights

Serving as a member of the trial team that successfully defended trade secret claims against a software company and its founders, and prosecuted counterclaims on which the jury awarded the defendants more than $30 million in damages, in addition to attorneys’ fees.

Successfully defending a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, a major chemical company and a Tier One automotive components manufacturer on motions, at trial and on appeal of various products liability matters.

Serving as a member of a team that secured summary judgment on behalf of a global consulting company in a taxpayer lawsuit in which the plaintiffs alleged claims of fraud and conspiracy, and sought over US$100 million in damages.
