Wage & Hour Update: Practical Solutions for Managing Independent Contractors

August 16, 2023 12:00 pm EST Free Webinar

Whether you work in healthcare, manufacturing, construction, or other industries, you and your company have likely hired independent contractors. However, determining whether a worker is an independent contractor, rather than an employee, involves a series of ever-changing considerations and legal tests. What constitutes an independent contractor is constantly evolving and now the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has revised their test and indicated an eagerness to pursue these claims. Employers who get these tests wrong can face costly penalties, liabilities, and even class-action lawsuits.

Join FBT attorneys Neal Shah and Steven Tolbert on August 16, 2023 as they provide you with all the legal updates you need to properly distinguish employees from independent contractors, as well as practical solutions that will keep your company from making costly misclassification mistakes.
