Biography

Ami joined the firm as a paralegal in 1993. She primarily works in the areas of health care subrogation, reimbursement, and ERISA and employee benefit claims. Ami manages the Firm’s Recovery practice, coordinating case activities with attorneys in multiple offices and states. Ami’s primary functions in this area include case investigation and evaluation, review of health plan documents, preparation of pleadings and correspondence under attorney supervision, maintenance of client relationships, and assistance in the negotiation and settlement of claims.

Ami has general experience in business litigation, with a focus on insurance and breach of contract actions. In conjunction with firm attorneys, Ami has been involved in more than 5,000 civil actions on behalf of various insurers and companies. She has broad experience in HIPAA matters and discovery issues. An accomplished researcher, she was awarded Senior Paralegal status in 2008.
